HYDROCARBONS FROM LYCHNOPHORA SPECIES (ASTERACEAE)

Mixtures of homologue series of linear hydrocarbons were isolated from three species of Lychnophora (Asteraceae) that grow in rupestris field of Minas Gerais State, Brazil. These were characterised as n-alkanes by IR and 1H NMR data.
