PROBLEMS AND COUNTERMEASURES IN THE RE-USE OF THE NUTRIENT SOLUTION IN SOILLESS PRODUCTION

H. Ikeda, P. Koohakan, T. Jaenaksorn
In this report, problems of pathogen contamination in nutrient solution, imbalance of the minerals, pH and EC control, and accumulation of phytotoxic substances in the solution and the countermeasures for these problems are reviewed. Also, the growing system and the technique of the nutrient solution management for the zero run-off are proposed.
