SOME ASPECT OF THE GROWTH AND FRUIT DEVELOPMENT OF SWEET PEPPER GROWTH IN GLASSHOUSE

V. POPESCU
Literature referneces include some indications about young pepper plant growth in relation mainly with temperature (Balasa, M., 1973, Ceausescu, I., 1966, 1973, Maier, I., 1969) and less with light.

Our researches aim was to determine the relation between the growth of young pepper plant in greenhouses and temperature-light conditions.

We also studied the way different densities of planting influence fruit setting, knowing that there are not refernces in that respect and that 80 x x 50 cm is considered the optimum density (Bengulescu, I., 1971, Dinu, M., 1972, Ceausescu, I., 1973, Simandan, Bengulescu, I., 1976)
