SELECTIVE EFFECT WITH BIORESMETHRIN ON VARIOUS ENTOMOPHAGOUS INSECTS

J.P. LYON, S. LYON
Experiment using bioresmethrin alone or in mixture with piperonyl butoxyde shows that eggs of Chrysopa perla L (Nevroptera) and pupae of Diaretiella rapae M'int and Aphclinus asychis Walk (Hymenoptere, aphid parasites) are resistant to this insecticide. A day after the spray, the residual effect of bioresmethrin is completely eliminated, without any action on the other instars of these aphidophagous insects.
