RESULTS AND PROSPECTS OF THE RESEARCH ACTIVITY IN THE FIELD OF THE MARKETING OF THE GREENHOUSE VEGETABLES
The last 15 years the culture in greenhouses and solaria, has been extremely developed. Our country is the fourth country of greenhouse culture in Europe and from the organizational point of view, we estimate to have the largest units in the world (till 200 ha).
The scientific research for the producing and the marketing of the vegetables and the greenhouse vegetables is organized in the Research Institute for Vegetables and Flowers, the Research Institute for Vegetables and Fruits Marketing and in the institutes of high agricultural education in close co-operation with production cooperatives.
In the field of the marketing of the greenhouse production, the researches are developing according to the researches programmes drawn up in cooperation with the Research Institute for Culture and with the Trust of Greenhouse Enterprises and it deals with all the aspects, beginning by setting out the best moment of the harvesting to its marketing.
The Research Institute for Vegetables and Fruits Marketing colaborates with the Central for Vegetables and Fruits, with the Institute of Biology, the Research Institute for Transport, the Research Institute for Packages, the Research Institute of International Conjuncture, the Institute for Commercial Research the Institute for Chemical Research, the Enterprise for Foreign Trade “FRUCTEXPORT” with productive units in the different sectors of national economy, with the experimental stations for the homologation of the varieties.
