Unfortunately, Paul Steiner could not be here to chair this session as originally planned. For those of you that were unaware or did not know Paul, he died last year after seventeen years of fighting cancer, heart attacks, and a few other major physical setbacks. Two weeks prior to his death Paul referred to the fable of a cat that has nine lives and told me that he feared that he had used all of his. Perhaps he had, but he utilized each to the fullest. He never tired of work in any form. This group is acquainted with his research and educational efforts with Fire Blight.
