TEN YEARS OF PEAR PRODUCTION AND PRECOCITY DATA FROM A COMMERCIAL PEAR ORCHARD COMPARING EIGHT OLD HOME BY FARMINGDALE CLONAL ROOTSTOCKS
Eight clones of Old Home x Farmingdale (OH x F), Pyrus communis rootstocks for pears, are compared in a commercial pear orchard planted in Hood River, Oregon, USA. The comparisons were conducted using the pear scions Starkrimson, Red Anjou and Bosc. The results show that the best yield precocity and yield abundance was achieved using the OH x F selection 87.
