SIMPLE DEVICE FOR ESTIMATING SOIL WATER CONTENT AT PERMANENT WILTING POINT
For irrigation management, soil water content at permanent wilting point is generally estimated by the soil water content at 1.5 MPa (W15). However, the measurement of W15 needs a special device whereas its estimation needs to know some characteristics of the soil.
A very simple device which can be used by the farmer, is proposed here to estimate W15.
