PROCESSING TOMATO VARIETY TRIALS IN MARMARA REGION IN THE YEAR 2000 AND 2001

Both in years 2000 and 2001, introduction and main experiments were conducted at Marmara region. First year 50 and second year 30 different processing tomato varieties were introduced. Furthermore, first year 15 tomato varieties have been tested in three different locations, and second year 11 varieties have been tested in one location as main trials. Data were collected, analyzed and tabulated on total yield, earliness, paste output, brix, pH, colour (a/b).
