Kratosija is an autochthonous vine cultivar that has been growing in Montenegro for a long period of time and its attitude is for red vine of the best quality. Population of this cultivar is very heterogeneous, what was the reason for low presence in vineyards of Montenegro and mostly in combination with the main Montenegrin cultivar vranac.Vine productivity of investigated kratosija biotypes as one of the parameter of heterogenicity was presented in this paper. Research was conducted during the period 1996 to 1998. As a heterogeneous-variability parameter of kratosija population is vine productivity (grape yield per vine and mass of pruned mature grape vine) in biotypes examined. The significance of the differences, variation coefficient and minimal and maximal values for the certain feature has been established. At the base of number of clusters and clusters weight, grape yield, productivity of vine and the quality of wine, the best vines in biotypes were selected for further investigations and reproduction depending on the aim of the selection of kratosija cultivar.
