OCCURING OF SOWBANE MOSAIC VIRUS IN PLUM TREE
The virus which Sutic et al. (1970) isolated from plum tree was identified to be an isolate of sowbane mosaic virus (SMV). The serological tests carried out by the agar double diffusion tests and the absorption tests revealed that the ivestigated isolate is indistinguishable from an American strain of SMV, a Yugoslav strain of SMV and also from SMV isolated from grapevine in Yugoslavia.
