HAZELNUT PLANT PROTECTION GROUPS IN CATALONIA: CULTURAL PRACTICES IMPROVEMENT AND NEW MANAGEMENT IN HAZELNUT
Plant Protection Groups (called ADV in Catalonia) are producers associations whose main objective is to improve their production by means of more effective cultural practices that are established by technicians and based on the principle of sustainability and on Integrated Pest Management systems.
These producers use controlled and certified methods in order to ensure the traceability of their products and guarantee food and environmental safety.
