The optimal tissue culture medium is selected for shooting in garlic inflorescence in the study. During the shooting course, we also detected the content of endogenous polyamines, so as to find the features of PA metabolism. The result indicated that the medium, MS+NAA(8 mg/l)+6-BA(1 mg/l), is the most optimal for inducing shoots. The results of analysis for endogenous polyamines indicated that Putrescine was positively correlated with morphogenesis of shoots.
