In this study, performances of 32 P. atlantica, 8 P. eurycarpa, 7 P. terebinthus and one P. vera genotypes were compared in drip-irrigated condition. The seedlings were grafted with P. vera cv Siirt scion and with its pollinator. Twelve plants (six cv Siirt and six its pollinator) were grafted from each genotypes and the experiment was established with in all 576 grafted plants. The diameter, scion diameter and scion length of the rootstock genotypes were characterized during two years. According to the results, the best rootstock genotypes were obtained from P. atlantica, whereas the weakest rootstocks were in P. eurycarpa. In this study, 09-A-15, 45-A-02, 09-A-12, 09-A-07 and 45-A-09 P. atlantica genotypes were the best rootstock genotypes. The preliminary results of this study showed that, in Pistacia, comparison of Pistacia species as their rootstock performance should be done at genotypic level.
