A SURVEY OF THE INFLUENCE OF CULTIVAR AND VINEYARD ON COLOUR AND SENSORIAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SOME ROMANIAN RED WINES
The comparative studies carried out during several years on red wines obtained from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot noir cultivars, that were grown in different vineyards from Oltenia and Muntenia regions, emphasized that the area of growing cause significant differences between wines of the same cultivar.
The differences were identified regarding the chemical composition of wines, chromatically characteristics and sensorial profile.
