The investigations were conducted on 11 apple cultivars: ‘Golden Delicious’ /st./, ‘Idagold’, ‘Jupiter’, ‘Telamon’, ‘Tuxan’, ‘Chadel’, ‘Jersey red’, ‘Rome beauty’ sel.5, ‘Orey’, ‘Kinsey’ and ‘Orin’ and 6 sweet cherry cultivars ‘Hartland’, ‘Royalton’, ‘NY 13688’, ‘NY 13791’, ‘NY 9295’ and ‘Bing’ /st./. The apple trees were grafted on MM 106, and the sweet cherry trees on (Pr. Mahaleb L.) respectively. Results from studies on some biological qualities were reported. The date of blooming time, dependence between temperature sum over 10°C and continuance of blossom, yield, fruit mass, storage period and chemical analysis of apple fruits were established. It was established that ‘NY 13791’ has a very late flowering – 5 days after ‘Bing’. ‘Hartland’ ripened a week before ‘Bing’ – 15 June. ‘NY 13791’ is a late maturing cultivar – 3 days after ‘Bing’. The productivity of the trees of ‘Orin’, ‘Jupiter’ and ‘Kinsey’ was high – 83.3 , 74.6 and 74.4 kg/per tree respectively .The largest fruits have been recorded in ‘Jupiter’, ‘Chadel’ and ‘Idagold’ – 190, 183 and 182 g. The productivity of the sweet cherry cultivar ‘Hartland’ was higher – 60.7 kg/per tree. The largest fruits have been recorded in ‘Royalton’ – 8.1 g, followed by ‘NY 13791’ and ‘NY 13688’.
