THE EFFICACY OF SOME INSECTICIDE PRODUCTS IN THE CONTROL OF APHELIA VIBURNIANA FABR. (TORTRICIDAE, LEPIDOPTERA) PEST AND THEIR SELECTIVITY AGAINST THE USEFUL FAUNA IN DÂMBOVIŢA COUNTY - ROMANIA

L.B. Frăsin, A.C. Cosac
From 9 tested products in A. viburniana control, over 90% efficacy, had those based on Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki, diflubenzuron 25% and phosalone 25%. As regards the main limiters of the A. viburniana Fabr. populations, the following were identified: Itoplectis maculator F., Glypta genalis Möll. and Tachina larvarum L. The highest parasitation rate had Glypta genalis Möll. (26%). The selectivity of the insecticides against the useful fauna was high for the product with active ingredient - diflubenzuron 25%, the average parasitation rate being 19%.
