VARIOUS LEVELS OF NITROGEN NUTRITION FUNCTIONAL INJURIES TISSUE WATERING AND FROST RESISTANCE OF APRICOT PLANTS

There were studied the relationship of various levels of nitrogen nutrition with the growth processes intensity, leaves functional injuries, tissue watering accumulation of protective matters and apricot plants frost resistance. It was shown the role of nitrogen in leaves structure change, appearance of functional injuries. Changes of tissue water holding properties at gradual lowering of temperature from 0° to -40°C. The optimum dosage of nitrogen (3,4,5 doses) inhibite protective matters accumulation carbohydrates and come, phenolic compounds (anthocyans, halcons etc.) and decrease of plants frost resistance. Sring fractional application of nitrogen at 2 doses of mixture proposed by Ukrainian Institute of Horticulture in vegetative trials decrease the appearance of leaves functional injuries and provided the increase of flower buds winterhardiness in apricot plants.
