GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF APRICOT TREES DEPENDING ON PRE-PLANTING TREATMENT OF SOIL

V.M. Mikaelian, M.E. Amirian
The foothill zone of the Ararat valley is one of the main zones of apricot cultivation in the republic. Semi-desert, brown, mainly non-powerful weak-structural soils are spread here. And their reclamation for perennial plantations is made very difficult because of stones and presence of cemented soil horizon.
