CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FLOWER-ORGANIZATION OF APRICOT

D. Surányi
The paper is a review of a grand labours to flower organization of apricots. The author was finded a very important regulatory of Prunoideae'sex, i.e. the strong negative correlation is between gynoecium and androecium. The apricots had a very large differences on pistil lenght /PL/, stamen number /SN/ and quotient /as relative stamen number=SN/PL/. The quotient of self-sterile Early apricot /in U.S.A. as Early Red Masculine Apricot/ and Isfarak are of greatest quotient cultivars /masculine type/, but Giant apricot and Flush of drawn apricot have smallest relative stamen number, so quotient is little value /feminine type/. Between of the utmost points are optimale self-fertile apricot varieties.
