A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE OF WALNUT PRODUCTION

Global walnut production and consumption has shown a steady rise in both amount and value since 1985. New areas have become important, e.g., China and Mexico, with old areas also increasing production such as the USA. This paper will discuss the global trends in production, uses and prices of walnuts.
