PROBLEMS OF GREEN AREAS INTEGRATION IN THE SUPERMARKET PARKINGS
The aim of the present paper was to establish the determinant factors which are involved into the parking plantations both designing and accomplish.
A case study has been done regarding the behaviour of varieties planted in the parking areas of two large commercial centres in North and East of Bucharest.
Planting conditions and maintenance, physiological stress, pollution effects on species and mechanical degradation have been analyzed.
The present study is the first step into a program that proposes to analyze and elaborate criteria for establishing the types of plantations for parking areas and the selection of varieties and characteristics of the planting material.
