Fertilization with nitrogen was done in intervals of two days in period of two weeks with different dozes of nitrogen: 0, 35, 70, 105, 140, 175, 210 and 245 mg N L-1 starting from first two leaves of cabbage seedlings. After two weeks fertilization was applied every day until the end of experiment. There were used two litres of solution per each treatment. The aim of this experiment was to estimate the influence nitrogen on biometric parameters of cabbage seedlings: dry and fresh weight, plant height and leaf area. Obtained results showed that the optimum concentration of N in the nutrition solution for cabbage seedlings is from 140 mg N L-1 up to 175 mg N L-1.
