THE MARKET FOR CARROTS IN N.W. EUROPIAN COUNTRIES

The sales of dutch washed carrots stagnated in the last few years. This was the inducement to carry into effect and market-research on different levels: consumer, trade, auction and grower. The combination of different parts of research makes each part itself more valuable. The total of the research proved to give good indication in what way the different aspects might be applied. This may give an improvement of the market-situation of Dutch washed carrots in N.W.-Europe.
