EFFECT OF DIFFERENT PRUNING DATES ON PHENOLOGIC AND POMOLOGIC FUTURES OF 'PERLETTE' GRAPE VARIETY
110 R American rootstock with Perlette variety was used to determine the effect of three different dates of Goble pruning system on growing, yield and quality features of seedless Perlette grape.
Experimental results shows that pruning in January, comparing to both February and March, leads to early bud sprouting.
Hence, it causes early blossom and early grains as well early maturity.
It is observed that January pruning gives best result regarding grape yield.
As a result, we can say pruning in Perlette variety should be rather done in January to have successful vineyard business in Sanlıurfa province conditions.
