Save the date: XI International Symposium on Integrating Canopy, Rootstock and Environmental Physiology in Orchard Systems
XI International Symposium on Integrating Canopy, Rootstock and Environmental Physiology in Orchard Systems
Bologna, Italy, 28 August - 2 September 2016
Save the date!
The next (the 11th of the series) Symposium on "Integrating Canopy, Rootstock and Environmental Physiology in Orchard Systems" will be held in Bologna, Aug. 28-Sept. 2, 2016.
The Symposium follows the very successful previous ones in Geneva (2008) and Stellenbosch (2012) and will strive to keep the tradition of these excellent gatherings, both scientifically and to foster professional and personal interactions.
The Symposium will take place within the heart of Bologna, to allow more options for the participants regarding housing and dining, and will run for 5 days.
Oral/poster presentations will cover two full days (Monday and Tuesday) and two half days, Thursday and Friday a.m., leaving room for business meetings on Thursday p.m., prior to the Symposium Dinner. A full day technical visit will take place on the Wednesday (participants will have the option between one more focused on pome fruit, heading towards Ferrara, or one more focused on stone fruit, going towards Cesena). The meeting will end at Lunch on Friday.
A Post-Tour is planned, heading West towards Cuneo (Piedmont Region), before returning East and North, towards the Trentino and Alto Adige fruit districts.
Stay tuned for further details!
