Surveys on crop diversity / neglected and underutilized species

The Commission Plant Genetic Resources supports Bioversity International in the following surveys.

The neglected and underutilized species (NUS) team at Bioversity International kindly requests your participation in two surveys that Bioversity International and FAO are conducting targeting the agricultural research and development community interested in crop diversity or neglected and underutilized species (NUS).

The first survey aims to identify non-staple crops that are tolerant to stressful conditions, to document the role of traditional crops in climate change adaptation:

The second survey, specifically targeting researchers, aims to investigate current capacity for NUS research and development:

The surveys are available in three languages: English, Spanish and French.

All responses are anonymous. The deadline for participation is February 15th, 2014.

Please forward this survey to colleagues and partners you know would have a valuable opinion on these matters. Thank you in advance for your time and cooperation in this important project. Apologies for any cross-posting.

Sincerely,

The neglected and underutilized species (NUS) team at Bioversity International
