With the 29th International Horticultural Congress just over a year away and abstracts closing off on November 1 2013 we thought it best to bring out the newsletter a little earlier to remind all members of the Commission and ISHS that abstracts for IHC2014 are now open. When submitting your abstract please follow the procedure outlined on the IHC website (http://www.ihc2014.org/) that will enable you to access the presenter' portal and download the abstract template.

The 1st Middle East Horticultural Summit will take place in 2013 with a speaker panel made up of horticulture industry professionals from across the world. This innovative event will focus on research and its potential on the future development of horticulture.
The 29th International Horticultural Congress will be held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, 17-22 August 2014.
IV International Conference on Landscape and Urban Horticulture: Impact of Landscape Horticulture on Development of Urban Economy with Green Environment. Abstract submission deadline is March 31, 2013.
