This study was carried out to determine the yield and pomological characteristics of ‘Mandora’ mandarin cultivar grafted on Australian sour orange, Carrizo, Gou Tou, Cleopatra, Sunki, Swingle, Troyer, Tuzcu 31-31 rootstocks in Cyprus conditions. As a result of the analysis, yield, fruit weight (g), titratable acid (%), ripening index (Brix/acid) and Brix (%) values were found to be statistically significant. While the highest yield was seen in Australian sour orange rootstock, the lowest yield was obtained from plants grafted on Gou Tou rootstock. The highest fruit weight was determined by the Troyer rootstock, while the lowest fruit weight was determined in the plants grafted on the Cleopatra mandarin rootstock. The highest titratable acidity was determined in Gou Tou rootstock, and the lowest in plants grafted on Troyer citrange rootstock. The highest Brix/acid ratio was determined in Troyer citrange rootstock, while the lowest was determined in plants grafted on Gou Tou rootstock. The lowest rate of soluble solids content (SSC) was detected in plants grafted on Australian orange rootstock and Sunki mandarin rootstock. According to the results obtained from this study carried out in Cyprus conditions, we can say that rootstocks have an effect on the yield and pomological characteristics of the ‘Mandora’ cultivar.
