Abstract
Foliar fertiliser and biostimulant sprays are widely used worldwide to improve crop yield, quality and stress tolerance.
Investigations carried out during the last decades showed the major influence of environmental factors for the absorption of foliar applied agrochemical with emphasis on temperature and relative humidity.
The effect of environmental factors on plant physiology and agrochemical spray physico-chemical properties is briefly discussed, highlighting new findings on the significance of the point of deliquescence and efflorescence of active ingredients and spray formulations.
