MORPHACTINS IN FRUIT GROWING: EARLY INDICATIONS

G. Schneider, E. Merck
The morphactins are a group of synthetic plant growth regulators which show promise as tools for fruit thinning, fruit loosening, improvement in quantity and distribution of fruit buds and for the maintenance of soil cover vegetation in orchards and tropical tree plantations. Toxicity and residue data so far obtained appear favourable.
