Technical innovations for maintaining fresh produce quality are often done in isolation, without a full appreciation about how they might impact or be affected by supply chain management. The conference aims to readdress this problem and provide a forum in which academics, industrialists and students may interact to provide real world solutions for the fresh produce industry.
