COMPARATIVE INVESTIGATION OF SATUREJA HORTENSIS OF DIFFERENT ORIGIN

M. Héjja, J. Bernáth, E. Szentgyörgyi
A total of 15 summer savory populations of different origin were examined during the vegetation period of 2000, from morphological and production-biological point of view. Based on the complex analysis, five populations were proven to have upright growth, relatively high drug yield, and high volatile oil content, making a good base for further breeding.
